Laois County Council has announced a bulky waste amnesty for Mountmellick in the coming weeks.
The amnesty, which covers large items such as couches, mattresses, beds and furniture will take place at Mountmellick Development Association on Saturday, September 9 from 9.30am to 2.30pm. The Eircode is R32 A0PK.
The amnesty service is free and limited to domestic customers only.
There is a limit of two items per vehicle and glass is not allowed.
