Danielle Fitzsimons, Head of Marketing for Mountmellick Credit Union said; “This year, the number of applications was overwhelming, reflecting the vibrant community spirit and the extraordinary level of volunteer activity across our common bond.

"We are delighted to have been able to support 38 different groups across Mountmellick, Clonaslee, and Rathangan, in sectors such as sports, the arts, education, music and community and social initiatives. The power of community is at the core of everything the Credit Union does, and this event underscores Mountmellick Credit Union’s commitment to fostering strong, inclusive, and thriving local communities.

"Over the next few months, we will be chatting with these groups about their projects and activities, offering the wider community a deeper insight into the activities and services available in their localities and also providing our members with a deeper understanding of how Mountmellick Credit Union’s Community Fund is being put to good use.”
