Communities in Mountmellick, Emo and Gowran in Kilkenny are grieving over the tragic and sudden death of a local woman over the past week.

Fiona Booth, née Bradford from Mountmellick, was the wife of Robert Booth from Emo, and the couple were living in Gowran, Kilkenny.

Many local messages of sympathy have been offered to the Bradford and Booth families. 

“Sincerest sympathy to the Bradford and Booth families. Such a great loss. A beautiful lady, gone way to soon. Rip Fiona,” one person said.

“Devastating news, Fiona was a gentle soul with so much kindness. condolences to all the family,” another wrote.

“Condolences to all the Bradford and Booth family at this sad time, rest in peace Fiona,” another sympathiser said.
