The unexpected cancellation was met with great disappointment from both the competing teams and their supporters, who had eagerly anticipated the event.
However, the excitement is back as the event has now been rescheduled to take place on Saturday, March 1st, at 7:30pm at Mountmellick Arts Centre, promising a night packed with laughter, music, and high-energy performances.
Six teams – Callan, Kilkenny City, South Tipperary, Insane, Freemount, and Mountmellick – will battle it out for the coveted top prize, showcasing their 20-minute variety shows filled with comedy, dance, poetry, and light entertainment.

Each performance will bring something unique to the stage, ensuring there's something for everyone in the audience.
Mountmellick will represent Laois in this exciting competition, with a talented team of 15 eager performers ready to showcase their creativity and energy.
Their show, "Un-laois'd: The Olympic Dream," combines sport-themed comedy, poetry about achieving peace, instrumental music, and much more, reflecting the team's passion and dedication.
The Mountmellick team delivered a stellar performance at the semi-final on January 11th in Graiguenamanagh, Co. Kilkenny, and now look forward to bringing their best to the All Ireland final.

The show is produced by Colette Cashin and AC Reynolds, choreographed by Louise Ahern, with backstage support from Chris Joyce, Adam Fitzpatrick, and Kevin Scott. Lighting is provided by Patrick Ahern and Larry Ryan.
Tickets for the event are €15, and both cash and card payments will be accepted at the door.
