A day long power outage is taking place in Mountmellick, Laois today by ESB Networks.
There are 49 residential customers without power on Tuesday, May 6 in a "planned service interruption".
The outage began at 10.40am but will be finished by 4pm, according to the ESB Network website.
It affects the Grange Hall housing estate on Harbour Street, Mountmellick.
Also in Laois, another 17 customers are without power in the Emo / New Inn area. They lost electricity at 9.55am but it is to be restored at 4pm.

"We apologise for the loss of supply. We are carrying out essential improvement / maintenance works in your area and will restore power as quickly as possible," say ESB Networks.
