Laois Gardaí issue appeal for missing Mountmellick teen

Gardaí in Laois have issued an appeal for a missing teenager.

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 16-year-old Jake Cunningham Burke who is reported missing in Mountmellick, Co. Laois since Tuesday, July 8 2025.

Jake is described as being approximately 5 foot 7 inches in height, with a slim build, brown hair and green eyes.

It is believed that Jake may have travelled to the Portlaoise or Carlow areas.

Anyone with any information on Jake's whereabouts is asked to contact Portlaoise Garda station on 057 867 4100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
