A woman in Dublin was shocked last week as she found a snake curled up in her bed.
The woman who doesn't own a pet snake was at her home in Dublin 8 when the shocking incident occurred, according to Shauna's Pet Shop in the capital.
The pet shop is now trying to reunite the snake with its owner after the incident was reported to the Department of Agriculture late last week.
It's been reported that the woman remained very calm in the face of most people's worst phobia, wrapping the snake up in a blanket and delivering it to Kevin Street Garda Station.
In a statement, Shauna's Pet Shop said: "We are hoping to reunite this lovely Kingsnake with their owner. He was found in an unsuspecting individual's bed in Dublin 8.
"He's had a busy day after trying to have a kip in someone's bed to only find himself in a Garda station a short while later (he didn't mean to trespass...) he is now safe with us."

The store also ominously added some advice to others: "Shake out your bedsheets tonight folks."
Although not venomous, the California Kingsnake can still give a nasty bite and can grow to almost four foot long.
They are also a restricted breed in Ireland since last month which means pet shops here can no longer sell them. Owners who had the breed before the new restrictions are permitted to hold onto them.
