NCT Ireland posted a number of tips to drivers to stay safe on the roads.
They were:
A sparkling clear view: Ensure your windscreen & mirrors are clean and free from obstructions
Keep it Fluid: Double-check to make sure your washers have enough fluid and the wipers are working
Oil's well that ends well: Keep an eye on your oil and water levels. Regular checks equals a well-functioning car!
Pump it Up: Make sure your tyres are properly inflated for optimal traction
Drivers are being warned of ice on all roads this week and to never drive their car without the windscreen and all mirrors properly cleared of snow and ice.
