ARREST: Gardaí catch motorist travelling at 132km/h on national road

A motorist has been arrested after being caught doing 132km/h on a national road. 

Gardaí in Blanchardstown were on patrol over the weekend when they detected the vehicle driving at the dangerous speed in the 100km/h zone. 

When stopped, Gardaí discovered the car's tax had been out for over 18 months. 

The driver was also arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence and will appear in court soon.
