A safety issue has been identified with Safari of Angels LTD Baby Soother Holders sold on Amazon.
The product presents a risk of choking and strangulation as the product contains detachable small parts that a child can put in their mouth and choke on.
The garment fastener and attached lion head component of the soother holder contain no ventilation holes.
A child can put this component into their mouth and as there would not be enough air to pass around it, the child may choke.
The product also has a length of 245mm, which is longer than the maximum permitted length for these products, therefore, there is a strangulation risk.
The brand is Safari of Angels. The model number is X001J60PE3. The batch number and barcode are unknown.
The product was sold online through Amazon. There are approximately 5 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
