Investigations are ongoing after a machete assault in Dublin.

Investigations are ongoing after a machete assault in Dublin with videos of the attack circulating on social media.

Gardai are investigating after receiving reports of an incident of assault that occurred at approximately 3:45pm on Tuesday, June 11 on Neilstown Road, Dublin 22.

One man was conveyed to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment for injuries believed to be non-life-threatening at this time.

Videos of the assault have been widely circulated on social media, showing a man attacking another with a machete.
