Separate searches for two missing men in their 20s have been stood down after gardaí issued tragic updates today.
Gardaí reported that both men were found deceased, and have stood down the two local searches.
One of the bodies recovered was that of 28 year-old Richard Bracken, who was reported missing from Athy, Co. Kildare on Wednesday.
The other body was of 22 year-old Westmeath native Callum Coughlan, who is reported missing since Tuesday.
Both men's families had reportedly been concerned for their wellbeings, and the cause of their deaths is not yet known.
Gardaí thanked the public for their assistance in the searches, and said no further information is available.
