Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the death of a cyclist in a fatal road traffic collision in Monaghan in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to a "single vehicle road traffic collision involving a male pedal cyclist" near Gort an Teannal, Knockatallon, at approximately 1.15am on Saturday, September 21.
The cyclist, aged in his 30s was seriously injured and removed from the scene to Enniskillen Hospital.
He passed away soon after, on the night of Tuesday, September 24.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time of the incident, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
