Gardaí discover two grow houses and seize over €105,000 worth of cannabis
On Thursday, 7 November gardaí seized cannabis with an estimated street value of €105,000 in County Cavan.
As part of Operation Tara, an ongoing operation to target the sale and supply of drugs, gardaí searched a property at Loch Gowna in Cavan.
Gardaí discovered a grow house at the property as well as 3.1kg of cannabis with a street value of approximately €62,000 and 46 cannabis plants to the value of €36,800.

In a follow-up search conducted by gardaí at another address in Loch Gowna, another grow house was discovered along with cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €6,400.
Two men were arrested in connection with the seizures and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
One of these men, a man in his 30s, has been charged and was due to appear before the Navan District Court on Friday.
The second man, in his 20s, was released without charge pending the submission of a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
