Aldi issues urgent recall of popular party food ahead of Christmas shopping rush
Aldi Ireland has issued a recall of popular party food as people prepare to do their Christmas shopping in the coming weeks.
Aldi Ireland issued the alert online and in stores over the Let's Party Vegetable Bao Buns sold in their supermarkets all over the country.
They said: "Our supplier is recalling Let’s Party Vegetable Bao Buns due to an error meaning some products contain an undeclared allergen (sesame) as well as duck meat which is not listed on the packaging.
"This may present a health risk to anyone with a sesame allergy."

They issued the following specific details of the affected products:
Product Name: Let’s Party Vegetable Bao Buns
Barcode: 4061463842909
Pack size: 8 pack
Batches affected: All batches
Best Before Date: All dates
"We have removed this product from sale in all stores and our supplier is recalling all affected products," a statement added.
"Do not consume the product if you have an allergy or intolerance and return the product to any Aldi store for a full refund.
