An investigation is underway after a motorcyclist was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on a busy road in County Wexford.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the fatal incident, involving a car and a motorcycle, which happened on the R742 near Johnstown, Castlebridge at around 9.20am this Wednesday.
"The driver of the motorcycle, a man aged in his 40s, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle, a woman aged in her 60s, was taken to Wexford General Hospital to be treated for injuries believed to be non-life threatening at this time," said a spokesperson
No other injuries were reported.

Gardai say the road is closed for technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators, and motorists are being advised local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward and for any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, who were travelling in the area between 8.30am and 9.30am to make this footage available to Gardaí.
