Three people have been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into drug-related intimidation in Dublin. 
Gardaí from the DMR North Division, assisted by District Drug Units, the Armed Support Unit and the Garda Dog Unit, conducted a number of searches under warrant in North County Dublin on Wednesday, 22 January in connection with the investigation.
A number of items were confirmed to have been seized during the searches. 
A man, aged in his 50s, and a woman, aged in her 40s, were arrested under organised crime legislation. Gardaí said that they are both currently being detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007 at garda stations in Dublin.
Another man, aged in his 30s, was arrested separately on foot of an outstanding bench warrant. The man appeared before the courts on Wednesday.
Gardaí say that investigations are ongoing.
