A man in his 60s has died in a house fire in Cork city.
Gardai and emergency services attended the scene on the Togher Road on Friday.
A garda spokesman said: “A man, aged in his 60s, has been pronounced dead.
“His body remains at the scene.
“The scene is currently held for a technical examination.
“Inquiries are ongoing.”
