It looks like Sabrina Carpenter has certainly sent another Irish man's heart racing, as Conor McGregor, the infamous mixed martial arts fighter, took to Instagram offering the 'Please, Please, Please' singer a night she would not forget.

Former child-star now turned international popstar, Sabrina, was playing two sold out nights in Dublin's 3Arena on Monday, March 3 and Tuesday, March 4 as part of her highly acclaimed Short n' Sweet Tour.

Many celebrities and influencers flocked to the event, and even the most unlikely of personalities were enthralled by the 25-year-old, including none other than Conor McGregor, who took a chance and invited the beauty to dinner.

Taking to his Instagram stories, the MMA fighter posted a picture of Sabrina, along with the caption: "Sabrina, our sweetheart, we are in @TheBlackForgeInn this evening if you and your team wish for a nice meal and drinks after your big show. Proper Irish dining experience, I would love to look after. We will look after you all! Hope you're enjoying Ireland."

Unfortunately for Conor, so far the superstar has yet to reply. However, she did make one interesting comment at last night's show, where she stated "Irish boys are hard work!" seemingly a dig towards ex-boyfriend and Dubliner, Barry Keoghan.

The pair met during Barry's rise to fame after starring in the dark comedy film Saltburn, alongside co-star Jacob Elordi.

Sabrina and Barry embarked on a year long on-and-off relationship, with the singer seemingly referencing him in multiple songs and even featuring him in a music video, before their break-up in December 2024.

It seems as if Ms Carpenter is steering clear of Irish men, for a while anyways!
