BREAKING: Man arrested after garda injured during incident in Dublin City Centre
Gardaí have said they arrested a man following a public order incident in Dublin City Centre on Saturday afternoon.
The incident took place on Abbey Street at approximately 1pm.
A garda was injured during the incident. It's been confirmed that the member of An Garda Síochána received injuries to his arm which were thankfully not life-threatening.

The garda was taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital for treatment. They added: "Garda welfare services will be put in place for the Garda member."
Gardaí arrested the man in his 30s at the scene of the incident and he is currently detained at a garda station in Dublin City Centre.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
