Search for man (35) missing since early hours of Easter Monday stood down amid garda update

A 35-year-old Irish man who had been the subject of a missing person appeal has been located, gardaí have confirmed.

Arthur Johnson - described as 5'8" in height, with shoulder-length brown hair, blue eyes, and a beard - was reported missing from Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, since the early hours of Monday, April 21.

When last seen, he was wearing a blue checked shirt and grey trousers.

"An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance," a garda spokesperson said.
