Almost €220,000 worth of cocaine seized from passenger at Dublin Airport

Cocaine seized by Revenue Officers.

A man was arrested on Wednesday after cocaine with an estimated value of around €219,900 was seized from him at Dublin Airport by Revenue Officers. 

The passenger had disembarked from a flight originating from Brazil when he was stopped and searched by officers who discovered the drugs concealed in his bag. In total, there was approximately 3.13kgs of cocaine. 

The man aged in his 20s was arrested by gardaí and is due before the courts. Investigations into the case is ongoing.
