Heartfelt tributes have been paid to a much-loved Irish father-of-four who died in a crash in Waterford city over the weekend.
Mark O'Sullivan, from Asgard Drive in Grange Manor and formerly of Ballygunner, was killed on Saturday afternoon, August 9, following a crash between a car and a motorcycle on the Williamstown Road in Waterford city.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene shortly after 1pm, but Mr O'Sullivan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 30s, was taken to University Hospital Waterford with non life-threatening injuries.
Mark is survived by his wife Tanya, children Ryan, Brooke, Amelia and Chloe, parents Edward (Nedzer) and Mary, parents-in law Des and Patricia (Cuddihy), brother Keith, sisters Selena and Charlene and their partners Brian and John, brother-in-law David, sisters-in-law Colette, Katie, Charlotte and Morgan, as well as his wider family, neighbours and many friends.

The Deise Bikers Motorcycle Club said: "It's with great sadness and a heavy heart we post this today. Sully was more than a boss he was a genuine friend and a gentleman. Our sincere condolences go out to Mark's wife and kids and his extended family at this sad time. May he rest in peace."
One message read: "We all have lost a real person, such a character. Won't be the same without Mark on the other end of the phone, he will be sadly missed by everyone at Germar Electrical & Security."
Another said: "An absolute gentleman who was always willing to help anyone who needed it. Thinking of his heartbroken family & friends. Rest easy Mark."
Friends also remembered his sense of humour, with one saying: "We are devastated beyond belief over the loss of Mark. Always a smiley face and a great sense of humour. Rest in peace Mark."
His funeral will take place on Wednesday, August 13, in St Mary's Church, Ballygunner, following repose at Thompson's Funeral Home on Tuesday evening.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was travelling on Williamstown Road between 12.50pm and 1.30pm on Saturday, or who has dashcam or CCTV footage, to contact Waterford Garda Station on (051) 305300.
