There are approximately 2,459 affected products in the Republic of Ireland
The CCPC have issued a product safety information notice on an Airshield UVC air purifier lamp.
The product sold by irish-supply.com does not comply with the requirements of the European law (Low Voltage Electrical equipment) regulations 2016.
The CCPC says health and safety risks cannot be ruled out due to unshielded exposure and the UVC emitting claims made by the product in question.
