RIP Jack O'Sullivan
Tributes have poured in following the unexpected passing of a young boy from County Cork.
Jack O'Sullivan was from Ballylickey, Bantry in Cork and died on 31st August 2025 unexpectedly.
He will be sadly missed by his family, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:
Reposing at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Wednesday September 3rd from 5.30pm to 7.30pm with vigil prayers at 7.30pm.
Requiem Mass on Thursday Sept. 4th, at 2pm at Sacred Heart Church, Glengarriff followed by burial in Glengarriff Cemetery.
Heartfelt messages have been left on RIP.ie for Jack, with one mourner writing,
"Deepest condolences to Janette and family on the death of your beautiful boy Jack....may his young soul rest in peace, and may god look after you all in the changed world without him".

Another message said, "Dearest Jannette and Olivia, and James, Katie, Daniel, Jack junior and the wider Downey and O'Sullivan families, no words can ease the pain of this heartbreaking loss of your beautiful boy, Jack, may he rest in peace in heaven reunited with his loving Dad, Nealus. We pray that you will find the strength to face the days ahead, your CCC coworker, Kay, husband Alwyn and family."
"Heartfelt sympathies to you all on the heartbreaking passing of Jack , there are no words. Thinking of you all especially Marian Steve Darragh and Anna Jannette Jacks, brother and sisters and extended family on your sad loss . May Jacks gentle soul rest in peace," another person said.
