RIP: Tragic news for family as body of missing man is found after Garda search
The appeal and search for a missing man in Dublin has been stood down after the discovery of a body.
Gardaí confirmed: "Following the discovery of a man’s body, the missing person appeal in respect of Romualdas Stulgys (62) who was reported missing from Clonee, Dublin 15, since Sunday 15th February 2026, has been stood down."
Gardaí had launched an appeal to find the 62-year-old last weekend and said they and the man's family were concerned for his welfare. He had been last seen last Sunday morning, February 15.
"An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance," a statement concluded.
