Search for missing teen girl stood down following 'concern' as gardaí issue update

A 15-year-old girl who had been the subject of a missing person appeal has been located "safe and well", gardaí have confirmed.

Mea Strujic - described as being approximately 5 foot 5 inches in height with a slim build, black hair and brown eyes - was reported missing from Tallaght, Dublin 24 since Tuesday, March 10.

Mea was last seen on Tuesday night at approximately 8pm and was wearing a black jacket along with grey tracksuit bottoms, grey top and white and grey runners when last seen

It was also believed that Mea may have been in Edgesworthstown, Co. Longford.

Gardaí and Mea's family were "concerned for her well-being" at the time of the appeal.

"An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance," a garda spokesperson said.
