Cuan Mhuire addiction treatment centre in Athy is celebrating its Golden Jubilee next week August 22 to 28.
It starts with a fundraising golf classic on Monday 22, followed by a conference on addiction chaired by Miriam O’Callaghan on Thursday 25, an American Tea Party on Friday 26, and a barn dance on Saturday at the Marquee, Cuan Mhuire.
Sunday evening August 28 has a Variety Concert with Dancing at 8.30pm in the Marquee.
Founder Sr Consilio is also extending an invitation to all to attend mass with Archbishop Eamon Martin at 12 noon on Saturday August 27, followed by free food and entertainment.
A torchlight procession around the grounds of Cuan Mhuire, will be held at 8pm.
On Sunday a Thanksgiving Mass, led by Bishop Eamon Walsh, will take place at 12 noon followed by lunch, speeches and entertainment.
