Port filmmakers win award

Colaiste Iosagain First Years Luke Melvein, Mark Gray and Conor Slevin with Dr Angie Brown, Consultant Cardiologist and Medical Director of the Irish Heart Foundation and teacher, Carol Browne after finishing second in the National Video Awards Ceremony.
Three first years from Coláiste Iosagáin have won runners up prize in the ‘Pumped’ national Video Awards Ceremony, having being shortlisted out of 80 entrants for their animation ‘Smoke Stinks’.

Three first years from Coláiste Iosagáin have won runners up prize in the ‘Pumped’ national Video Awards Ceremony, having being shortlisted out of 80 entrants for their animation ‘Smoke Stinks’.

Luke Melvein, Conor Slevin and Mark Gray created a ninety second video of a rapping superhero who explains to teenagers the damaging effects of smoking and encourages them to live healthy lifestyles.

Colaiste Iosagáin congratulate them on their achievement and on representing their school so well.
