The July meeting of Laois IFA will take place on Monday, July 4 in the Maldron Hotel, Portlaoise at 8.30pm.

The guest speaker on the night is Thomas Cooney, National Chairman IFA’s Environmental Committee.

He will give an update on Climate change, Nitrates, Greenways and Sustainable Food Production.

The current farm income crisis is a key priority for IFA at the moment and this will also be discussed.

There will also be an update on Commodity Prices, Schemes and Farm Safety.
