A public consultation day will be held in Clonaslee this week as part of preparing plan to improve flood prevention in the area.

The meeting, which takes place on Thursday, September 8 from 2-7.30pm, will provide the public with an opportunity to ask questions about the the content of draft Flood Risk Management Plans.

The event is hosted by the Office of Public Works in partnership with Laois County Council.
