Criminal damage and public order offences have remained fixed over the past year, up just one from 204 in the second quarter of 2015 to 205 this year according to Laois Gardaí.
Criminal damage by fire is down 56 percent (from nine to four) and public order is down 18 percent (from 76 to 62), while criminal damage not by fire is up 14 percent (from 110 to 125), and drunkenness is up 56 percent, from nine incidents to 14.
The stats were published at the recent Laois Joint Policing committee.
