Met Eireann Weather: Temperatures to reach above 20 degrees for another week
A sunny June Bank Holiday has launched us into another week of sunshine as temperatures are set to stay above 20 degrees in Laois for the next week.
Leaving and Junior Certificate exams kick off on Wednesday, June 6 and the good exam weather tradition has kicked in.
On Tuesday, the Met Eireann forecast says that temperatures will peak at 23C around 4pm.
This warm weather is set to continue and rise to 24C/25C on Wednesday just as the Leaving and Junior Cert students open their first English Paper 1 exam.
On Thursday, temperatures will rise to 23C with another sunny and clear day in Laois.
Friday is set to be cloudier but temperatures will still reach 21 degrees sunshine to break through in the evening.
Saturday, Sunday and Monday are also set to reach 21 degrees in Laois.

Staying cloudy in places but today will be warm with hazy sunshine. Most areas dry, but heavy showers will develop during the afternoon and evening with the chance of thundery downpours especially over western counties. Highest temperatures 19 to 23 degree - feeling fresher near shores due to sea breezes.
Any showers affecting the west will die out and tonight will be dry and near calm. It'll be misty, with fog forming widely inland. Humid. Minimum temperatures 10 to 14 degrees.
Tomorrow Wednesday will be another fine and mostly dry day. Varying cloud, and good spells of warm hazy sunshine after early mist clears. Most areas dry, though a few showers may occur in the southwest and west later in the day. Highest temperatures 20 to 24 degrees, with sea breezes near coasts.
