“EP is going nowhere” festival organisers say Electric Picnic to stay in Laois

Electric Picnic organisers have said that Ireland’s favourite festival will be staying in Laois for the foreseeable future.

Picnic organisers are announcing a brand new Irish festival in the coming weeks. This will be a brand new Irish festival in a new location taking place this summer.

When asked if this new festival would have any impact on Electric Picnic’s future, organisers were happy to confirm that the Picnic, which is in its 15th year, will be sticking around Stradbally.

“EP is going nowhere, the initial deal with Thomas was 10 years and then we renewed a long term deal for Stradders!”

Well, we look forward to many more years of Electric Picnic in Stradders! The festival is held at Stradbally Hall site which belongs to Thomas Crosby.

Organisers said that ‘something special’ is coming in the next few weeks to announce the brand new Irish festival.

The first acts for Electric Picnic 2019 were announced today, see the line-up here.
