The enhanced route will provide peak-time and evening services and will offer improved connectivity to Ballybrophy Rail Station, Nenagh Rail Station and regional bus services. The route will also provide enhanced connectivity for the towns and villages of Silvermines, Cloughjordan, Moneygall, Toomevara and Shinrone.

TFI Local Link Tipperary General Manager Anthony Moroney hailed the fantastic news at the launch of the new bus route.

“We are delighted to see the 100% increase in services (four return trips to eight return trips) added to the timetable and the addition of Silvermines and Ballybrophy with this enhancement," he said.

"This enhanced service will provide greater opportunities and flexibilty for passengers from the towns and villages that it serves for access to work, educational, and social activities.”

While this is exciting news for many Ballybrophy commuters, there is still no bus route from Ballybrophy to neighbouring towns Borris-in-Ossory and Rathdowney.
