See Bank Holiday changes to Laois local link routes

Irish Rail and Laois Local link services have announced changes to their usual timetables on the upcoming Bank Holiday Monday.

On Monday October 27, regular rural services 822 (Mountrath to Carlow) ,858 (Cashel, Thurles, Portlaoise) ,840 (Banagher to Tullamore) and 823 (Birr to Portlaoise_ will run to the Sunday timetable.

The 850 (Athlone to Roscrea), 806 (Portarlington to Monasterevin), 815 (Tullamore to Athlone) and 834 (Roscrea to Portlaoise) will run to the usual timetable. Evening services will run as usual over the weekend.

All other services will not be running on the Bank Holiday Monday.

Certain Local Link services will not run during the Mid Term break, particularly the school and college routes:

Moneygall to Templemore

Roscrea to Athlone TUS & Moate Business College

Ballycumber to Athlone TUS & Moate Business College 

Pollagh to Athlone TUS & Moate Business College 

Belmont to Athlone TUS & Moate Business College 

Tullamore to Athlone TUS via Clara & Moate

Ballyroan to Athlone TUS

Stradbally to Athlone TUS 

Daingean to Maynooth University.
