Laois Gardai have reopened the busy N80 in Portlaoise which was closed for a time on Saturday due to an accident.
Gardai had to close the Mountmellick Road in between the Ballyfin Rd junction & Fairgreen due to the incident which involved five vehicles around 3pm.
Gardai put diversions in place which were lifted after the vehicles were cleared by 5.30pm.
Laois Gardai said nobody was seriously injured.
