Portlaoise's Dan Downey was crowned All-Ireland Indoor U-15 champion in the 800m race. The young man won the race with a time of 2 minutes and 4 seconds on Sunday.
He also finished third in the U-15 high jump with a height of 1m 66cm to add a bronze medal to his All-Ireland medal.
Splendid stuff again from Dan who continues to go from strength to strength in a sport that takes massive individual commitment and resilience.
