Two athletes from St Abban's AC have shone on the European stage with their wins helping seal victor for Team Ireland at the European Games in Krakow.

"It was such a nice day and the main thing is staying cool out there. The competition goes on for a while but it’s great to be under pressure, it’s a privilege. It’s great to be part of the team, I love the atmosphere. It’s such a big team effort in very way. It’s a big change because everything in athletics is you, you, you.", Millet said after her first-place finish.

On Wednesday, Buggy competed in the Women's Third Jump with the St Abban's athlete finishing third with a jump of 13.01m. Azerbaijan finished first while Armenia took second place.

With 14 wins and 494 overall scored points, Team Ireland have been crowned winners of Division 3 and promoted to Division 2 for the European Games in 2025.
