Laois' Shane Allison now holds the honour of being the 2023 ITF -75kg Sparring WORLD Champion after a superb campaign in Finland saw him walk away with the gold medal.
Shane was selected as part of the National Team to compete in the ITF Taekwondo World Championships in Tampere, Finland 04-10 September. He took to the mats on Wednesday, September 6. He had a very tough campaign, competing against England, Finland, Scotland, Argentina, Australia and then into the final against Romania.
