Laois' Nicole Turner is currently in Paris preparing for her third Paralympic Games having made her debut as a 14-year old at the Rio Paralympic Games. She was also a flag bearer in Rio.

The games in Rio saw her compete in five events where she got to a final in each event but unfortunately her best finish in her opening games was fifth. Tokyo saw Turner secure a Silver medal in the 50 m Butterfly S6 final.

Turner comes into the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games in a rich vein of form having won four medals at this year's European Championships in Madeira. She won Gold in 50m Freestyle S6, Silver in 50m Butterfly S6 and two Bronzes in 200m IM SM6
and 100m Breaststroke SB6.

She'll get her campaign underway on the opening day in Paris.
