Croke Park is set to be the home of the Minnesota Vikings vs Pittsburg Steelers when the NFL comes to Dublin
Irish NFL fans rushed online this morning in the hopes to snag tickets to the hotly anticipated first regular season NFL game to take place in Croke Park. And looking through social media a lot of fans have been left disappointed with long queue times and errors causing users to put to the back of the over 600,000 person queue in pursuit of tickets.
The game is due to take place in the 2025 NFL season on 28th of September, when the Minnesota Vikings take on the Pittsburg Steelers in Dublin.
Tickets for the game ranged from the cheapest seats costing €85, all the way up €495 for what the NFL are calling "Premium Central" seats.
Just to highlight the crazy demand for these tickets, the tickets have been on sale for 5 hours at the time of writing this article and the queue is currently still at 440,000. The frustration from fans definitely seems justified.

One fan posted on X after sitting in the queue for 4 hours and receiving a message on the site that their "Browsing activity has been paused." You would be raging.
In their post they tag the Ticketmaster social accounts and write:
"Well done on another shambles of a ticket sale. Sit in a q for close on 4 hours and then you get this message. Absolute joke of a company/service."
Another fan posted their experience trying to get the sought-after tickets saying:
"Show me a worse case than this. 707 in queue at 12pm (presumed I was very lucky). It took until 1.30pm to get through and it told me the queue number was rejected hahaha. Could not make it up!"
Just going on X and searching through the NFL Dublin discussion it seems that hundreds of fans are all having very similar experiences trying to source tickets.
Another fan took to social media to jokingly write:
"Probably have a better chance of playing in the game than getting a ticket."
Its not the first time we have seen Irish people going mental about how hard it is to get tickets to a popular event, it wasn't long ago all that people were talking about is dynamic pricing and Oasis! Hopefully this debacle ends with more happy people than there was that day.
