Former Republic of Ireland international looks set to be made manager of Premier League manager of Brentford. 

The midfielder who has been capped 35 times for the Republic of Ireland, is currently the set-piece coach and Brentford and is looking to get the step up to the head coach job.

He is set to become the first Irish manager in the Premier League since Chris Hughton's stint with Brighton.

Andrews looks to replace the hugely popular Thomas Frank, who has his eyes set on Tottenham Hotspur.

But the job at Brentford for will not be an easy one for Andrews as his first managerial job.

With Brentford finishing a respectable 10th in the Premier League last season, despite having the second lowest wage bill in the Premier League.

And not only that, Brentford are looking like losing arguably their best player Bryan Mbeumo to Manchester United. Mbeumo managed 20 goals and 7 assists in the 38 game Premier League season last year, not easy to replace that kind of output.
