"Organised in conjunction with Neighbourhood Network’s Our Shared Plate project, the Street Feast was an opportunity for people to bring along a dish to share with their local community, featuring workshops and activities for all the family," Laois Partnership Company said.
"There was also a tour of the allotment, with tea, scones and snacks to tuck into."
Along with delicious food provided by chef Ann Devitt, there was face painting and a variety of fun activities for children.
There was also a basket willow weaving demonstration delivered by multi-media artist, Lynn Kirkham; and a presentation on using food waste and food preservation by ecologist Alex Konieczka, who is founder of Understory, an environmental and zero-waste organisation.
The event also featured a community oven consultation with Eilish Langton, who is a former coordinator with Creative Places Athy.
This was Laois Partnership Company's second Street Feast- here's to many more!
