The Ossory Agricultural Show celebrated its 127th year on Sunday, July 27 with crowds flocking to Coolfin, Rathdowney to embrace all the activity. It was a chance to experience the vibrant and longstanding traditions of Ireland’s agricultural community in Laois as well as a great day out for families and all ages. This year’s event did not disappoint with everything from livestock showing, home industries, crafts, and baking to equestrian cattle and sheep classes, dog shows, and horticulture. Photographer Alf Harvey was there and captured all the fun. Spot anyone you know?
