The Anvil Inn in Portarlington was nearly packed to the rafters over the August Bank Holiday Weekend when it hosted a country & western theme night in aid of the Cuisle Centre cancer support service for people with cancer and their families around Laois. Photographer Con Murphy was among the huge crowd, and he provided photos to the Leinster Express / Laois Live from the "fantastic night" to share with local readers.
