Portarlington Credit Union backs Team Hope Shoebox appeal

Portarlington Credit Union is linking up with Team Hope again this year to help those less fortunate and taking part of the Christmas Shoebox Appeal

The branch has leaflets in the office with all the information and what can and cannot go into the boxes.

The key steps are:

1. Get a shoe box & wrap it in Christmas Paper.

2. Fill it with little goodies for male/female in a certain age category.

3. Put your sticker provided on the front of the box to indicate the age & gender. 

4. Put €4 in the envelope provided. (this covers insurance & transportation costs).

5. Drop it into the office before November 16.

This simple gesture gives so much happiness to many children.

Last year an incredible 5,430 shoeboxes were sent from Laois to Romania.
