Portlaoise house plans brought before An Bord Pleanala

Plans to build a house and garage in Portlaoise have been brought before An Bord Pleanala.

Mary Cash was granted permission to build a house and garage at Collier’s Lane Upper in Kilminchy subject to 12 conditions on July 3.

The Council Chief Executive’s order granted permission to “construct dwelling house, domestic garage and all associated site works at Collier's Lane Upper, Kilminchy, Portlaoise in accordance with the documents received by the Planning Authority, subject to the 12 conditions set out in the attached schedule.”

However, Michael Spillane sought leave to appeal the decision with An Bord Pleanala on July 27. His application to the board has been marked invalid on their website.

However, no decision has yet been made and the case is due to be decided on August 23.
