Bretland Construction, an Edenderry headquartered firm, was awarded the contract for the project following a public procurement process. The multi-million euro project will see 52 apartments and amenities developed on former Church and Convent land and buildings on Church Avenue, Portlaoise.
"Our Portlaoise project is well underway! We are excited to see this project progress as the plans for this development come together. The grounds will include 52 apartments and extensive landscaping in the surrounding areas for residents to enjoy," said Bretland in a social media post.
Housing Minister Darragh O'Brien visited the site back in April for the turning of the sod.
