ISPCA issued warning on social media

The Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals(ISPCA) has claimed a bogus collector is pretending to raise funds for the charity in Portlaoise.

It has come to our attention that an individual in the Portlaoise area is claiming to raise funds for the ISPCA through a charity skydive. Please be aware that this is NOT a legitimate fundraiser,” the ISPCA wrote on social media.

“We urge our supporters and the public to stay vigilant and avoid engaging with this individual. If you come across any suspicious fundraising activity, please report it immediately to your local Gardaí or contact the ISPCA directly at 043 33 25035,” they said.
